SolarForU operates a solar-quote marketplace. We are not a solar installer, contractor, retailer, lender, or utility, and we do not sell, install, or finance solar systems. When you request quotes, we share the information you provide with one or more independent, licensed local installers who may contact you by phone, text, and email to provide a quote. Any purchase, contract, price, financing, and workmanship is solely between you and the installer you choose. Estimates shown on this site are illustrative only, based on the limited information provided, and are not an offer, guarantee, or professional advice.
Who we are
SolarForU is a neutral solar quote marketplace. We match homeowners with a trusted local installer. We are not an installer ourselves.
What we collect
- Information you provide in the quote wizard: ZIP, home address, home type, roof age, monthly electric bill bracket, motivations, timeline.
- Contact details you enter to receive quotes: first name, email, phone.
- Consent records: whether you agreed to be contacted, timestamp, and the text you agreed to.
- Basic technical data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and analytics.
How we use it
- To generate your instant estimate and match you with local installers.
- To share your submission with the matched local installer(s) so they can send you a quote.
- To improve the service and prevent abuse.
Who we share it with
When you submit the quote form, your contact and project details are sent to the matched installer(s) so they can prepare a proposal. We do not sell your data to unrelated third parties.
Your choices
- You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information at any time by emailing quotesolarforu@gmail.com.
- You can opt out of marketing messages using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by replying STOP to text messages.
